Head Coach Allen Darden
|
A lifelong resident of Lansing, Coach Darden was a basketball and
football standout at J. W. Sexton High School. Upon graduation from
Sexton, he attended Central Michigan University on a football
scholarship. After college, Darden coached Boys Basketball at Sexton
for 12 years. |
| Originally from Flushing, MI, Coach Bernardini played for the Flushing
Lady Raiders and the Michigan Belles AAU teams. One of the top players
in the state, she graduated and accepted a D1 scholarship to Western
Michigan University. After an injury, Bernardini transferred to Stetson
University in Deland, FL, to finish her college career and graduate. |

A product of many hours in the gym as the coach's son, Coach Darden has
been at his father's side as manager, player, and assistant coach for
nearly 35 years. A multi-letter athlete at Sexton, Darden played
basketball, football, and soccer. |
